Our second Christmas ... Last year goose to go, this time duck to go ... again super tasty and totally uncomplicated!

Super delicious food, really delicious cake. Clean and well-kept restaurant, lovingly decorated. Parking lots available.

Friendly professional service. Good kitchen. Reasonable prices with generous portions.

Very nice ambience, friendly waitress. Delicious beer. That doesn't help if the kitchen or chefs are having a really bad day. The quality and the serving of the dishes have clearly decreased. It's a shame - no further visits for the time being.

I became aware of the restaurant through the good reviews and was really completely satisfied. The food was perfect (the pumpkin soup in particular was a poem), the waiter was very friendly and attentive, and the dining room, designed with great attention to detail, was very cozy. The slightly higher prices were definitely justified. I will come back here for sure.

The food was OK. A little too high in price. Pan fish with 2 pieces of fish for 21 € you have to want it. The online menu was unfortunately not up to date. It's a bit annoying when you go there for a special dish and then hear that it doesn't exist.

Nice garden ... prices very high (more of a senior citizen trap), but if you wg. Direct sun puts a chair at the head of the table in the shade and still has enough space to sit next to you, you get a harsh whistle. Canceled expensive food, no cash - not again

Very nice restaurant in a cozy atmosphere in a former school. Outside there is a large beer garden, which maintains different styles. The food is extremely tasty and nicely arranged, albeit at a high price for the rural area. However, the service was very attentive and friendly. You can also usually do well here. stop for a bike tour. Gladly again.

Excursion destination for hikers and riders in the upper Alstertal. Very nice garden with plenty of space for groups. The establishment was recently renovated and makes a tidy impression. For guests who are looking for a high-quality coffee place setting, they should look for a different place: the offer is very limited and the quality is mid-range. My cake was very dry and the apple taste wasn't there. Every baker can do that better. In terms of price, the operation is not cheap: For a small coffee place setting with simple tin cakes, around 8 euros are called. I have known the company for many years, in the past the gastronomy was better by classes.

The Old Rader School impresses with its idyllic location on the Alster Run. The service here is clearly based on the motto, the guest is king. Requests were answered promptly. The food reflects the German middle-class kitchen on a high level for me. Here I had the best fried potatoes in the region. The ambience, small cute modern details alternate with old German rustic structurally modernized structures. The restaurant looks very high quality and that's it. Conclusion: family and child friendly, which we will definitely visit again.

Found this place by chance, way off the beaten path - or, in Germany's case, the autobahn - super friendly hosts who graciously spoke English and explained the menu, delicious food (the wild boar burger is AMAZING!) fab red wine, cosy atmosphere and a most delightful garden, which we'd love to try out again, in summer. A real find and totally worth the detour :))

We discovered the restaurant by chance on the way from Hamburg to the Baltic Sea when we were driving around the traffic jam on the highway. We were totally surprised how nice it is to sit here in the garden. And it's super nice inside too. The staff are super friendly. The food was great. So everything to be recommended. We'll definitely get back! Many thanks
